Purpose-Driven Branding that Impacts and Inspires - David Aaker
Is he conflating precision with accuracy. We can produce more precise models of behaviour but they're not necessarily more accurate. Defaults are going up and have been for decades. If the modelling was so good then we'd be seen fewer bad investments and failed loans - that's not the case. The AI argument is another point. AI is as only as good as the data it is trained on. It will approximate the predictive skill of the population of Drs that produced the training data it will not exceed it. There are methods of reinforcement that can improve the predictive capabilities beyond this but typically at the expense of something else. So I suspect the headline masks the true findings of such a study.
00:40 you can do all of that with Bitcoin Cash today, the version of Bitcoin that actually works
Think about more of what you're learning and less about what you are doing. You wonder if the countless former employees of FB, Google, SF, etc... who were all laid off from their jobs ever asked that question?
Waste of time and oxygen
best video about bubbles ever!
Lara is the best! Listen to her... Greetings from a former Sanyo co-worker.

And they stopped inviting him to speak because he spoke favorably about Trump. Wisdom wasted.

love this
2:35: There is no "Warren-Buffett rule" to suggest one should promptly sell off an investment upon its exceeding its (intrinsic) value.
Yup, ignorant comments like that is what I disliked about this guy despite his entertaing behaviour. In fact, Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger would tell you that you should think extremely long about selling, because selling is very difficult - not only must the sale be right, but then you have to find another correcr buy afterwards. To be fair, though, he isn't entirely shooting the dark either. Conservative value investors would definitely sell very quickly in that game once it breached the fundamental value. I know I would.
@@theWebWizrd, I agree with your remarks. (I rarely agree with people's remarks.)
Video posted in 2013, citing the "BitCoin bubble"...
Plushcare is a scam. They charge you $129 and give you nothing. You don’t get what you asked for. And it claims it’s guaranteed but they won’t give you the refund even if you prove they didn’t provide services.
is there somewhere a summary to this youtube video?
you can use AI tools for that or GPTs if you have GPT-4
About the “dollar “ My boss and father once told me. He always keeps a dollar in his desk to remind him he’s always have at least a dollar if business goes south…:) his dollar coins 1883 worth 10,000
They're standing on a house of cards. The speed of tech innovation is catching up to the world by surprise every time. If 100 years ago a company would stand triumphant for decades, nowadays one disruption can clean house in an entire industry. Another huge danger is that they're snakes eating their own tails. All four companies are turning their consumers and the world into a state where it's incompatible with life and with their consumption. Amazon by satiating lazyness creates lazy slobs which forfeit any reason to do anything with everything - thus destroying their consumer base. Apple is satiating coolness and thus making everyone uncool - while polluting the planet with their yearly releases. Facebook is creating hate-filled monsters who'll have no reason to connect to anyone else. Google is providing info to undesirable people thus triggering politicians to destroy its capability to provide info to everyone properly.
i like her voice, very soft and attractive
I’m not going to take life advice from a guy who threatened to kill himself during a livestream. Sorry I just am not going to trust his opinions on human emotions.
anti china is a tool for those politicians.
The movie's origin should be Indonesia.
Probably no beggar now?
shouldn't it be v > w so that v-w is positive?
crazy to hear his thoughts on bank regulation in 2023...
Employers forcing employees to come back to the office M to F are shooting themselves in the foot. A hybrid model works better, but the most effective for certain jobs is remote.
This is really a great 101 video on behavioral finance. It definitely made me think deeply on how market participants act, think and behave. Great stuff and engaging professor makes this video not just entertaining but also insightful!
came here because of him being canceled. This guy is amazing. And he's right about it as he is with what he said the other day.
This guy is solid and wise. Love his comics too in fact!
Well this video did not age well with this guy. Cannot believe he attended UC Berkeley Haas of Business.
I think it did age well because it proves that he's a very intelligent man and what he said the other day is correct. Why don't you ask if 50% of black people saying "being white is not good" isn't racist?
Don’t take advice from this guy. He’s way off target. Intellectual fraud
Very good - lots of stories instead of tons of theory! Great Lecture!
Silicon valley in banking what could go wrong? Constantly spying on the consumer through social media, phone data.
Don’t take advice about passion from a guy with no passion. That’s my advice.
Scott got two doses of the cursed v'axine. He talks a lot about money but made a huge mistake with his life.
Good habits
And yet, he claims non-experimentally jabbed humans are destroying the Planet, learns how stupid his statements were, and then blamed non-experimentally jabbed humans for being correct, by saying that we're too stupid to have gotten it right, and must have just been lucky guessing correctly. Couldn't have been that you're a Nazi tyrant-lover this whole time, could it now...? Oh, of course not! The establishment is always correct, remember!??
Scott Adams is an anti-vax lunatic now!
Tala is the name of the Company ... They are based in Kenyan and have done remarkably well
Thanks for clearing things up heading into New Year. Lol
C.C.P country
Great talk. Thank you .
Many artists and writers are passionate about what they do and die poor. You have to be passionate about something that pays the bills. I know my passions never paid very much and few people could understand Applied Phonology or Phonemic Transcription Analysis which I invented but no one is interested so it pays me $0. I can tell you it’s useful in some applications but as no one is interested in hearing about it or learning it then it will die with me and at 72 years old that’s not far off. That was my passion but it never paid a dime.
brilliant
This is terrible and incorrect in many ways
Leave it to an economist to put everything in terms of money gdp and how much you’re worth. What a tool.
Interesting to see this data and information as I'm exploring the Fintech industry.
So Bitcoin bubble 9 years ago… Bitcoin Price in 2013: $13- $1,100 Starting at $13 in the beginning of the year, the price of Bitcoin rose to almost $250 in April before correcting downward over 50%. The price consolidated for about six months until another historic rally in November and December of that year, when the price peaked out at $1,100. 24x now
Bubbles gotta bubble. It is in their nature to grow to ridiculous heights before they pop.
Some learn out of their mistakes some don't.

I think this will be a horrible world of control we will be living in. and we just saw the beginning in the last 2 years ..... I like (at 28.43) when he says pay cash for the bad things you buy, unfortunately cash will soon disappear and then every single transaction will be traced and we will not even be able to hide anything of our lives anymore - a real nightmare. The professor is brilliant though even if he seems to be on steroids ....
There’s still way to be private
@Yahisfirst I agreee 100% what I am saying is there is still a way to privatize I’m not disagreeing. I’m saying even with this here there is still away to go private:
A PhD in common sense? Well it depends on how it is applied.
